Mindfullness

As part of emotional wellbeing, Class 4 spend five minutes after lunch listening to calming and relaxing music to focus their thoughts and get ready for the afternoon.

Safety Carousel

As part of the Safety Carousel, Class 4 learnt how to survive 'Cold Water Shock' and here they are practicing this very important life skill! As part of the day, they participated in activities run by the Fire Service, Police and NHS.

Spring 2 Homework - Prince Of Egypt

Citizenship Ceremony

Class 4 had the honour of attending a local Citizenship Ceremony, held at Darlington's Council Chambers, yesterday. Many pupils contributed to the ceremony by researching and presenting information they found on one of 8 countries the new UK residents originated from. Other children shared research on the history of Darlington. The class had their picture taken with the Mayor in the Council Chambers by a professional photographer (keep an eye out on our website for it!); and afterwards we had light refreshments with the new UK residents, their families and the Mayor. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable time and felt privileged to be part of their special day. The children were an absolute credit to the school and I was extremely proud of them all! Well done Class 4!
